The China Tang bar is as gloriously glamorous as you’d expect from an outlet at The Dorchester, that most venerable of central London hotels. The brainchild of renowned businessman Sir David Tang, the founder of the China Club in Hong Kong, it’s a deeply attractive space, with an art deco lounge bar reminiscent of 1930s Shanghai . The cocktail list features all the classics including an impeccable Singapore Sling. The delicate Jasmine Martini mixes Grey Goose vodka, lychee, Galliano L’Autentico and jasmine flower water while the Oriental Cosmo orange infused Kettle One vodka, Yuzu Shochu, Cointreau and Martini Bianco.

The bar stocks a superb range of single malts whiskies, gins, vodkas, rums and has an impressive wine list. The bar serves food all day from our Dim Sum and A La Carte menus; steamed lobster dumplings, honeyed spare ribs, and exquisite broth-filled Shanghai dumplings – are all beautifully presented.
