REVERB FESTIVAL - 11.07.15

After hosting the superb Ed Harcourt and Wretch32 in 2014, London's only Rooftop Festival REVERB returns even bigger and better in 2015 with a superb lineup of established and breakthrough artists to really kick off your summer with a bang!

This year we'll be featuring not only some incredible music but also live comedy coupled with beautiful cocktails, outdoor garden games and outstanding summer BBQ food.

We're delighted to announce our headliner for July's event will be a star of London's vibrant music scene, the mesmerizing...

Delilah

Delilah’s unique look and sound epitomise the true essence of the multi cultural environment she grew up. Delilah was raised amongst the vibrant sound of London’s live music scene. Her father introduced her to this through his work in promoting British bands and live music, during the 90’s. When he died in 2002, Delilah used her emotional experiences of life and death to start creating her own music...

Delilah’s first single ‘Go’ (Prod. by Balistiq) gained initial support from 1Xtra DJs Mistajam and Twin B (Record of the Week), then went on to be A-listed at Radio 1, where it was also chosen as Sara Cox’s Record of the Week. It has now sold over 150,000 copies.

2 - 4am is the new free downloadable 8-track mixtape that features a collection of unreleased tracks, plus Joe Goddard's remix of Delilah's second single 'Love You So'.

She is currently working on her second album. Her debut Album, 'From The Roots Up', was released Summer 2012 and went straight in at number 5 in the UK Album Chart..

Elli Ingram

No Brit School alumni, Elli developed her impressive vocals first in her bedroom, then gigging in her hometown of Brighton. She grew up in a musical house: her dad performing in a classic rock cover band, her mum listening to Joni Mitchell, reggae and ska and her sister playing piano. Now, having toured Europe with Chase & Status and sung to a crowd of more than 10,000 at Glastonbury, she says the stage is where she feels most at home: “It’s the best feeling. I feel relaxed and safe in a weird sort of way. Especially when it’s dark and you can’t really see anyone and it’s just me. I love it."

Etta Bond (Acoustic)

Inspired by the likes of Jill Scott, Billie Holiday, Etta James and Amy Winehouse, Etta has a superb finesse when it come to songwriting, a powerful delivery teeming with a vulnerability and honesty that will warm even the coldest heart. After a fluke Myspace encounter, Etta Bond met artist/producer Labrinth. Within hours of meeting they had written and recorded “What is it you Do?” and the two began a working relationship that would be crucial in Etta’s career.

Recently, she has recorded features with Plan B, Professor Green, Wretch 32, and Kano.

The Thirst

Hailing from Brixton, London, brothers Mensah & Kwame Hart, along with childhood friends Mark Lenihan and Marcus Harris, are ‘The Thirst’. Traversing sub-cultures & genres, 'The Thirst' create their own unique 'electric-groove', funk-rock-soul sound.

Surrounded by huge amounts of anticipation, 'The Thirst' album is due for 2015 release, so watch this space!

THE WELL

The Well are TJ (drums), Andrew (bass), Ollie (guitars), Oliver (keys) led by Freddy (lead singer). Born and raised on the west coast of Norway just outside the buzzing city of Bergen, as much as The Well’s story begins now it began a decade ago. Influenced by both music from the past and the present, from Arcade Fire and Haim to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, their bond formed early, growing up together and going to the same school. The seed of an idea led to the guys forming a band with little experience of playing instruments.Fast forward 2006 and the guys started their first gigs around Norway and then in 2012 were spotted by seasoned Norwegian music manager, Geir Luedy, of MADE, one of Scandinavia’s leading music management agencies. Seeing the raw potential, Geir guided and let the band grow within; confident but vulnerable, this is a band that dreams big.

PRINCESS SLAYER

Warm bass, big beats and ethereal soundscapes.Princess Slayer are a live electronica band from the UK. Their performances are electrifying and their productions are “slick and ultra sexy”. The likes of Bonobo, Phaeleh and Die Antwoord inspire Vince Welch’s beats and production, whilst the melodies of Submotion Orchestra, HAIM and Sia echo throughout Casey Lim’s vocals.

GINA KUSHKA

Singer, writer, painter and all-round artist, South African born and London living Gina is breaking in to the capitals music scene with a bang, bringing her delicate vocals, mixed with a backbone of reality, to the stage for an exclusive acoustic set.

DAWSON

Dawson is an acclaimed singer/ songwiter, multi instrumentalist and session musician hailing from Derbyshire, via Leeds, and is now based in vibrant East London. As the current UK Loop Station Champion, he represented the UK at the World Loop Station Championship Finals in Los Angeles in January 2013, and then proceeded to tour the entire west coast of America, playing intimate shows, open mics and busking.

Headlining the SCOUNDRELS COMEDY STAGE will be the superb...

Katherine Ryan

Katherine is fast becoming a recognisable face on British TV with appearances on BBC 1's Live At The Apollo & Let's Dance for Comic Relief, BBC 2's Mock The Week, QI & Nevermind The Buzzcocks, C4's 8 Out of 10 Cats and more, Katherine Ryan has just embarked on her second UK stand-up tour.

In 2013 Matt co-hosted The Xtra Factor on ITV2 with Caroline Flack and appeared on shows like Sweat the Small Stuff (BBC3) a couple of times, Celebrity Juice, Nevermind The Buzzcocks and a load of other bits and bobs.
