Heads & Tales

Description

Heads & Tales is a stylish West End retreat made for Edinburgh’s gin-lovers. Hidden away in Rutland Place, the venue is known for its seasonal sharing plates, secluded private hire alcoves and a gin list that just won’t quit.

These guys share a home with the Edinburgh Gin Distillery, who work their magic using the two on-site stills. This gives guests a unique chance to observe the distilling process while they sup away at their drinks and nibble at their charcuterie boards. Mixed drinks like the minty fresh The Humbugger are available from £7, and there’s a host of other spirits, beers, wines and soft drinks too.

Sharing boards are put together using the finest local produce available, and each £4.50 spread is handily split into charcuterie, cheese and fish sections. You’ll want to book one of their four boothed areas if you’re celebrating, and with a 3am licence at the weekends there’s every reason to kick back and get cosy for the whole evening.
