New Unity

New Unity is a boozer with a lot of character. It's a fab spot for catching some sports or simply meeting your mates for a couple of drinks. Its food offering is tempting as the menu is provided by Otomi Tacos so you can expect to tuck into three fully loaded shells of your choice (think slow-cooked pulled pork or baja-style fish) along with quesadillas and nachos.

YO! Brighton

For mouthwatering maki, make your way to YO! on Jubilee Street. As you enter this Japanese hotspot, you'll be met with tasty sushi plates, from pepper nigiri to Cali rolls galore, all before sitting down and having it all delivered to you via the cool keitan conveyer belt.

North Laine Brewhouse

Wing Wednesday - 2 for 1! and 1 other offer

Brighton's North Laine Pub and Brewery has been pulling in crowds from all over with its impressive selection of craft beers and local ales. But it's the venue's food menu that's really caught out eye. With sharing boards, hearty roast dinners, fresh catch-of-the-day dishes and moreish bar snacks, the venue's chefs have mastered traditional gastro menus.

Mowgli Brighton

Wander down to Dukes Lane for some moreish Indian fare at Mowgli in Brighton. Its interiors will have you mesmerised thanks to golden fairy lights in bottles and hanging swings from the ceiling. You'll be strapped for choice with what to eat as the menu features a range of signature dishes like its house lamb curry or keema, or a tiffin box for one if you fancy playing food roulette.

Easy Tiger @ The Hampton

Tuck into some delicious, authentic Indian cuisine with a table at The Hampton's Easy Tiger. This restaurant is the brainchild of Sabu Joseph (chef and director of Cafe Cardamom) and the team behind The Pond, so a lot of love and thought is poured into the dishes. Enjoy the likes of small plates such as Kerala fried chicken and madras masala meen fry, as well as delicious, fragrant curries.

Wahaca Brighton

Wahaca in Brighton is the place to go when you're on the hunt for some good quality Mexican food without splurging too much. Located close to the seafront, this colourful restaurant is full of charm and character thanks to its geometric flooring and leafy vines wrapped around the walls. On the menu? Think guacamole and chips, tacos filled with steak and cheese, plus fantastic vegan options too.

Circo

If you fancy your tapas Asian-inspired then look no further than Circo in Preston Circus. The restaurant serves up a whole range of interesting sharing plates using ingredients such as octopus and tuna tartare.

MEATliquor

If American inspired burgers are what you want, then bountiful American inspired burgers are what you're going to get. Influenced by all things Stateside, the patties at MEATliquour are booming, with no space reserved for vegetarians. Offset with an incredibly urban venue boasting locally sourced neons and creative carnival vibes, this is sure to be like no burger you've ever had before.

Indian Summer

We all know that Brighton is a top tier destination for international dishes and cultures, but who knew we would come up so trumps when it came to curry and Eastern cuisine? A more upmarket take on your regular Saturday night Korma, Indian Summer are introducing Indian cuisine into the 21st Century, all the time maintaining their relationship with classic dishes and spices.

Plateau

French cuisine is the dish of the day at Plateau where locally sourced small plates balance rather well with what could possibly one of the biggest wine menu's in Brighton. Perfect for a special night with that special someone, there's an air of romance at Plateau, but then again, that could be the great wine menu that we mentioned earlier. From small sharing dishes to great local fish, this laid back restaurant bar is just the ticket.

Bohemia

Whilst known for their garden inspired rooftop bar, molecularly creative cocktails and home in a traditional Edwardian building in The Lanes, Bohemia do harbour a slick dining restaurant that you'll be pleased to have stopped by at. Contemporary yet classic, Bohemia's restaurant serve British dishes with a little gastronomic flair, all locally sourced and ethically hand made at pocket friendly prices.
