Plus, it doubles as a tea room, so you can fill your afternoons with tiers of finger sandwiches and scones.

Milk Cake: The MilkCake Man
The MilkCake Man is renowned for exactly the dessert you'd expect; a Mexican delicacy soaked in three kinds of milk, while still retaining its fluffy texture. So, what flavours are found here? 24K saffron, pistachio and Spanish latte, to name just a few. If you're not already filled up after those, get your hands on the 'cherry blossom' - signature soft-serve ice cream topped with a candyfloss tree.

Edgbaston's La-Pop! delves out hand-crafted gelato lollies made of locally sourced, organic milk to satisfy your cravings, finishing them off with your choice of dip and toppings. Think everything from Biscoff to pistachio or banoffee flavours for the ice cream, while matcha green tea chocolate, honeycomb, Smarties, marshmallows and coconut cover the outside - it's a fully customisable treat.

Cheese Cake: Heavenly Desserts Birmingham
Some of the best dessert places in Birmingham can be found at these Moseley and Handsworth destinations. Heavenly Desserts has the pretty-in-pink look to match marble tables and floral ceilings. But, it's not just the spaces themselves that are easy on the eye. The Biscoff and white chocolate cheesecake would be our recommendation, while the pistachio-rose milk cake is just as delish.

This Small Heath spot is a friendly, neighbourhood venue with a modern twist. Japanese-inspired design meets a menu of 'locoshakes' at Eis Cafe, including the Nutella salted caramel, 'Oreo monster' and more. Served in neat little jars with a smothering of cream and drizzle, these are a whole pudding by themselves. But, if you have room, there are also waffles, 'cookie brownies' and more.
