What they say:

A new body for the dated femme fatale that was The Village Inn, £400k has gone into the refurbishment of this traditional Moseley pub, soon to transform it into a warm and inviting 'farmhouse' inspired whimsical treasure. With interiors designed by a woman known for her creative flecks upon The Plough and The Lord Clifden, smatterings of gastro pub grub and gin-inspired cocktails, this grandiose blend of drinking parlour, dining area's and beer garden is set to invigorate Moseley's ever growing pub scene.

What we say:

Considering that this new gastro pub is brought to us by the one woman whimsical wonder behind The Plough and The Lord Clifden, there's certainly high hopes for its opening, and we're all kinds of giddy for a look in. Moseley is slowly but surely coming alive with an air of kitsch creativeness and The Village is set to only add to this cool blend of playful interiors and fantastical furniture. Plus gin-inspired cocktails, roaring fireplaces, flying ducks on the walls and another cracking beer garden? We'll be slapping on our brogues and hot footing it down there coming mid-November.
