Bun & Bowl

Description

A brand new restaurant bar in the heart of Birmingham's prominent Cube building, Bun & Bowl blend oriental and American dishes into a hearty destination for dinner and drinks alike.

Brought to you by the very same folks behind Brazilian destination Rodizio Rico in the very same building, Bun & Bowl is a classic and contemporary restaurant bar through and through. Boasting a subtle fleck of the industrial thanks to their steel sparing furniture and exposed brick walls, the interiors are wholly minimalistic, but echoes just the same simplicity of their dining menu.

Serving a slap up yet very simple selection of unique dishes, the concept behind a restaurant bar like Bun & Bowl is seemingly different to a lot of what the city currently boasts. From Asian inspired shrimp dishes that tick 'Bowl' off the list, to American style patty sliders that confirm their 'Bun' standing, Bun & Bowl have brought two seemingly different styles of cooking under one roof, and yes, just the two. Go big with their Surf & Turf offering for £18.90, get those fingers messy with one of their iconic Shrimp Bowls for £13.50 or wrap your chops around one of their fat burgers with Mexican, Brazilian and Iberica pattys all up for grabs. When it comes to drinks, cocktails come in at a reasonable price, with classics as their forte, while wine, bottle and draft beers come as standard too.
