The Yardbird has now closed.

Oozing with bundles of speakeasy character, this live music venue in Birmingham has the smoky air and broody tendencies of any 1920's jazz club; inspired by San Francisco's very own Elbo Rooms and other American Funk staples. With its bare brickwork, rich mahogany charm and low (often candlelit) lighting, this somewhat romantic bar makes for an indulgent joint to enjoy the jazz fineries of Brum.
